International work experience
- Coordinating a national reform of curriculum for vocational education in Tanzania (1984 - 1986).
- Coordination of donor and creditor activities in the education sector in Mozambique as advisor to the Minister of Education (1990 - 1995).
- Advising on basic principles for a national curriculum reform for Upper Secondary Education in Sri Lanka (2002 - 2003).
- Advising on the establishment of a National Council for Higher Education in Namibia (2005 - 2007).
- Short term consultancies and evaluations in Zimbabwe, Tanzania, and Mozambique and Pakistan and facilitator and key not speaker in conferences in Tanzania, Lithuania, Jordan and Kuwait.
- Board member of Association for Teacher Education in Europe.
